Welcome to Paper Mountain Jewelry

Hello! You might know me as the maker of Mountain Metal Artisan Jewelry. I've rebranded many times, and each time, it hasn't felt right; it hasn't been genuinely me. Paper Mountain Jewelry reflects who I am as an artist, and I couldn't be more excited!

It's been quite a challenging journey these past few years. I've felt lost and struggled with my business, and the uncertainty has been draining. There were many times I wanted to give up, but I'm slowly finding my way again.

Last year I went full force in signing up for as many art markets as I could, and I needed to make up for my loss of income from the previous year. My budget could only allow fabricating a few metal pieces, so I decided to get back into the art of paper folding. I made as many origami crane earrings as I could. I received such positive support that I knew I was on to something!

I was getting burnt out from the markets and couldn't wait to take a break. My last market event was in December, and I decided to start the new year with less stress. The first thing I did was uninstall Instagram from my phone, and it helped me be in the present and find more joy in the little things. I found clarity in where I want to take my business and how I want to grow personally.

Paper Mountain describes my love of creating with paper and my love of Mountains (specifically the Sandia Mountains of my hometown, Albuquerque). But most importantly, it represents my delicate nature and strength, something I hope my jewelry will also reflect.

I hope you will join me on this new journey. Thank you so much for your support, and I hope you have a new year full of joy, prosperity, and good health!

Blessings,

Gasinee
