Beading : My Journey into Jewelry Making

In my first few years of college I started to design jewelry for fun. A friend had taught me a few beading techniques, I bought jewelry making books and did a LOT of experimenting.

I made a small collection and decided to try to sell them at markets, at my mother's restaurant, and at events at the Thai temple. Friends and family were always so kind to support my creations!

The first statement necklace I sold was to a woman who came to the restaurant. She took one look at a necklace and immediately bought it. It really boosted the bit of confidence I needed as a young artist and pushed me to keep going.

Since then I've always been creating and evolving in my style and materials.
