The origami lily is a centuries-old traditional model dating back to 1845. It is a similar folding method to the Iris and Bellflower. The bellflower (five petals) is folded from a five-pointed star-shaped paper, the Iris (three petals) from an equilateral triangle, and the Lily (four petals) from a square sheet.
